Club officers need to attend training for each position that they hold‏

Dear Division Governors and Area Governors,

Three weeks into the term and I am sure all of you are nicely settled into your respective District leadership roles.

There has been a lot of confusion/ misunderstanding re Club Officer Training. Our TLI team checked with TI and TI replied that Club officers holding more than one EXCO positions need to attend training for each position that they hold, in order to gain credit.

This looks like those who register under 2 separate positions in one single TLI-1 session, will only be able to validate ONE of them.

Please cascade this message down to all your club officers as soon as possible. We do not want clubs to think they have met the minimum requirement of at least 4 officers trained in each Club Officer Training, when they have not – because they do not know about this requirement by TI.

Let us all work towards encourage each club fulfilling that minimum 4 Officers trained in both TLI-1 and TLI-2. Let’s strive to get the highest attendance of club officers attending TLI-1!
